The Washington Redskins middle linebacker London Fletcher isn�t known for his trash talking. He also isn�t known for causing undo drama. He has never made headlines for getting arrested and doesn�t have to be reined in by his team�s PR department. All of those facts make Fletcher�s recent comments to reporters even more intriguing. After not being selected to this year�s Pro Bowl, Fletcher told reporters that he had a career worthy of the Hall of Fame,Rehearsal Dresses, despite his lack of any Pro Bowl appearances. When trying to ascertain why he hasn�t been selected, Fletcher cited his experience with the draft as one of the possible reasons. He instead signed with the St. Louis Rams as an undrafted free agent in 1998. Since that season, Fletcher has not missed a regular season game. His last year with the Buffalo Bills, Fletcher tallied his first defensive touchdown. He was signed by the Washington Redskins as a free agent before the 2007 season. That year, he had 128 tackles,personalized bobblehead, 10 passes defended, three interceptions and his second defensive touchdown. He has started all 14 games so far this season with 118 tackles,custom bobbleheads, five passes defended,custom bobbleheads, half a sack and one forced fumble.
Fletcher clearly believes he has been snubbed from the highest honor this time around. Although the Redskins� defense is ranked second in their conference and fifth in the NFL, no players from the Washington defense made it to the Pro Bowl. The Redskins who did get invites were running back Clinton Portis, fullback Mike Sellers, left tackle Chris Samuels and tight end Chris Cooley.
